The Volvo FMX330 is equipped with the D11 inline six-cylinder, 10.8L diesel engine, producing 330 hp (243-246 kW) and 1600 Nm of peak torque. Across its evolution, the D11 moved from unit injector (D11C, Euro 5) to high-pressure common rail (D11K, Euro 6), achieving broad torque delivery between 950–1400 rpm. The D11K integrates precision fuel management and advanced piston design for improved efficiency and lower noise. Driveline options include Volvo’s I-Shift automated manual transmission, available with crawler gears for sub-2 km/h precise maneuvering and high-load startability, as well as an optional I-Shift Dual Clutch for seamless torque delivery on uneven terrain.
